Getting around the Dounreay site without walking on the road has always been a problem. With increased traffic on the road, it is essential that we address the problem.
Landowners must be consulted on this matter, and we have created a survey for the convenience and assistance of the Highland Council Officer, who is already overstretched. Users are always expected to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code, as supported by the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2016.
When we walked part of the route, there were cows in the field. They are very friendly, but take care if there is a bull in the field. Please close all gates.
