ROUTE DETAILS SEPTEMBER 2019

14th Arrival

15th Walked from Brough around Dunnet Head then onwards to Thurso.

16th Taken to Fresgeo Harbour then walked to Strathy.

17th Went to Strathy Lighthouse then on to Bettyhill.

18th Walked from Bettyhill to Tongue.

19th Taken to Polla near Loch Eriboll then walked to Durness.

20th Ferry from Keodale to Cape Wrath then onwards to the Lighthouse. Mini Bus back from Lighthouse to Ferry.

21st Taken to Lairg then trained/planed home."

ROUTE DETAILS JUNE/JULY2019

27th Arrival

28th Taken to Duncansby Head, not much to see due to the haar. First section to The Haven. (Scarfskerry).

29th From The Haven and walked to Dwarwick Pier

30th From Dwarwick Pier to Thurso.

1st July Walked from Thurso to Fresgeo Harbour.

2nd From Fresgeo to Strathy.

3rd Strathy to Bettyhill.

4th Bettyhill to Talmine.

5th Talmine to Hope.

6th Hope to Laid.

7th Laid to Durness.

8th The Final Day. Durness to Cape Wrath.

 

BIG MACS

This group are two fine guys, they requested this title.

ROUTE DETAILS JUNE/JULY 2019

25th Arrival.

26th Taken to John o'Groats to go to Orkney on the Maxi day Tour. On return visited Duncansby Head and saw some Puffins.

27th Taken to Brough to walk to Thurso.

28th Walked up to Holborn Head before going to Strathy. Also walked up to Strathy Point Lighthouse.

29th Walked from Kirtomy to Bettyhill.

30th Walked from Strathan to Tongue.

1st JULY Walked from Polla to Durness.

2nd Cape Wrath Ferry & Lighthouse walk.

3rd Transported to Lairg than to proceed home.

 

They will be sending pictures for inclusion at a later date.

Gordon has promised to bring his family back to do the Way.
