Horses are the most sustainable form of transport. As a multi use route, you will need gear. You can get it here. If horse riders are wearing kit with the Friends of the North Highland Way logo, then they will know that they are paid up Friends.
Here you can petion for horses on the route. Sometimes we have problems with The Highland Council not wanting horses on the route so we have an ongoing petition.
